trunk: resume before the Reload experiment
Empty marker on the last pre-Reload change. Keep the Reload experiment on reload (3801914), its first change on reload-start (200a1fc), and the unfinished performance investigation on reload-perf-wip.

-# The command words of every pane in a LAYOUT COLUMN end at the same screen
-# column. tag_right_pad sets that end, but a path too long to fit inside the
-# pad used to collapse its own gap alone, so one row's New/Del sat hard against
-# its path while the row below it kept its own out at the pad — two ragged
-# columns of words you read (and click) down.
-#
-# Here the file's path is 43 columns longer than the shell's cwd, and long
-# enough (85 of the pane's 98 columns) that its own gap is zero. The shell
-# below it moves out to the file's end instead of the pad's, so both rows spell
-# New and Del in the same two places.
+# Compact commands stay beside their own prefix regardless of sibling length.

-# A pane whose tag does not FIT is counted AT its right edge rather than
-# dropped from the vote. Dropping it would be a threshold: here the file's tag
-# is 85 columns, so one column of resize either side of that would move BOTH
-# rows of words by the whole pad, and dragging a window edge across the width
-# would snap them back and forth under the pointer. 87 -> 86 moves them one
-# column, and the file's own tag is the only thing that loses a character.
